Tyler Vanice has one of the most enjoyable jobs in the Masonic Fraternity, serving as Director of Collections and Member Services at the George Washington Masonic National Memorial in Alexandria, Virginia. In his role as Director of the Museum and Library, he curates exhibitions, develops articles and presentations, and works to preserve and interpret the history of George Washington and Freemasonry for both Masonic and public audiences.
He is a Past President of the Masonic Library and Museum Association of North America, 2021-2023, and serves as its Secretary since 2023. He also serves as Secretary for The Philalethes Society, North America’’s premier and oldest continuous Masonic research society founded in 1928.
Brother Vanice petitioned the Fraternity in 2017 and has since been active in a wide range of Masonic bodies, holding officer positions in several. His Masonic affiliations include the York Rite, Scottish Rite, and the Order of the Eastern Star, among many others. He currently serves as Senior Steward of Andrew Jackson Lodge No. 120, Virginia, and is a member of Alexandria–Washington Lodge No. 22, Virginia.

Dr. Waldman, the first female and first professionally-trained librarian at the Masonic Library and Museum of Pennsylvania, was the last to hold the title of Librarian and Curator, 2000-2005. As the curatorial responsibilities of the Museum became more complex, she became Librarian in 2005, and Bro. Dennis P. Buttleman, Jr., was named Curator.

On February 1, 1987, Bro. John H.Platt, Jr., previously the Associate Librarian and Curator of the Masonic Library and Museum of Pennsylvania, was appointed Grand Lodge Librarian and Curator by R.W. Grand Master Carl W. Stenberg, Jr. Bro. Platt succeeded Bro. Frank W. Bobb, Librarian and Curator since 1970. A member of Pilgrim Lodge No. 712, Keystone Royal Arch Chapter No. 3 and the Scottish Rite Valley of Philadelphia, Bro. Platt had held various positions at the library of The Historical Society of Pennsylvania for 25 years including Head Librarian.
